Miraculous Marinette transformed in Dragonbug coloring page
In the series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, Dragonbug is a fused version of Marinette Dupain-Cheng when she uses two Miraculous at the same time: the Ladybug Miraculous and the Dragon Miraculous.
Context of Dragonbug:
- Marinette/Ladybug: Marinette is the holder of the Ladybug Miraculous, which allows her to transform into Ladybug.
- Dragon Miraculous: This Miraculous is usually wielded by Kagami Tsurugi, and it allows her to transform into Ryuko, a superhero with the power to manipulate the elements (wind, water, lightning).
- Fusion of Miraculous: In certain episodes, Marinette had the opportunity to use the Dragon Miraculous in addition to the Ladybug Miraculous, which led to her transformation into Dragonbug.
As Dragonbug, Marinette retains the powers of Ladybug (creation and purification with the Lucky Charm and Miraculous Ladybug) while also accessing the powers of the Dragon, which allows her to transform into wind, water, or lightning.
Dragonbug appears in the episode “Miracle Queen” (Battle of the Miraculous – Part 2) of season 3 of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. This episode is the last one of season 3 (episode 26).
In this episode, Marinette has to face the supervillain Miracle Queen (Chloé Bourgeois akumatized by Hawk Moth). To fight this threat and protect the other Miraculous, she decides to use the Dragon Miraculous in addition to her own.
